This Baby Will Not Come Out
It’s like he/she is so happy playing around in here that he/she refuses to come out.
Come on already, before you are 10 lbs!

OK
1 day to go and nothing yet. I am going to attempt some long walking today and see what happens. I had about 7 hours of false labour last night, but thankfully I didn’t get my hopes up about it, because here I am - sans baby.
Artemis was whining to go out and explore the snow last night…so I took him. Here is what it looked like:
Also, I wanted to show this photo from when Damen and I were in California this past summer. This was us outside the massive sushi buffet in San Diego — too bad I was completely put off by the idea of sushi at this point in the pregnancy.
Still Baking…
6 days to go. Panic is sort of setting in…happiness also, of course
WAITING
8 days to go!
I know I’m up late, but I felt I should at least post something.
It seems as though if you are using both Microsoft Office 2007, and Sharepoint 2007 in a midsized business, you can do some cool things. I don’t know if the userbase will be as excited about this silly technology as I am, only time will tell.
I really love the new Office 2007 UI. I must compliment Microsoft for throwing away 10-15 years of crappy Office design and going with something drastically different. Editing documents is actually fun. Scary!
In other news Windows Vista is quite lame at this point. New sound effects, fancy blue and green gradients everywhere cannot save the fact that there isn’t too much compelling in the OS at this time. I suggest a slow and tedious migration will take place (such as moving to Office XP from 2000 or something). Despite the fact that there hasn’t been a Microsoft OS shipped in 6 years(?) I can’t believe just how underwhelming this change is.
Windows 2000 it is not.
Birthdays
It’s my 26th Birthday today, and it looks like I’m not sharing it with baby
It is, however, quite the sensation to be near to a real birth day on your birthday.
Wonder how many more times I can say birthday…
BORED MUCH?
Obviously, I am extremely bored. Don’t get me wrong…I am enjoying some ‘personal time’ prior to becoming a parent, however, as it is -30 degrees celsius outside, I am finding that most activities are limited.
I made some cinnamon buns which did NOT turn out. BLAH. I also am making some bread, which looks as though it WILL turn out. Oh well, I guess not everything is perfect.
I’m listening to Belle & Sebastian and feeling sort of melancholy…
I also went grocery shopping today. Only 2 hours until Damen gets home!
First day of Mat Leave!
Wow…I can’t believe I’m done work! It’s a crazy feeling, and here I am sitting at home at 8:45 a.m. blogging. I have lots of things to do, so I hope that the baby can be patient for a couple of weeks so I can get stuff done! If not, that’s okay too!
Had an ultrasound today, as mentioned in yesterday’s post, and much to our delight, the baby is getting on just fine. “Bang on” for weight at 5 lbs. 15 oz. and we couldn’t be happier. We got to see its little heart beating, and it’s little full bladder which made us laugh. (I didn’t want to laugh too hard, as my bladder was also full, and too much motion may lead to peeing everywhere…)
We purchased a Chariot Carrier yesterday, and it is a very cool stroller.
Tomorrow is my last day of work, which is so great. I am looking forward to a little time to myself before the big arrival.
